Definitions:
Course – includes learning French in a selected scope and lasts from one to several months. The student can start a course lasting several months, interrupt it after a month/module and return to it, for example after a two-week vacation. The courses lasting many months are appropriately divided into modules. The student will always return to the appropriate moment of the course after the break.
Module – is a component of the course; each new month of the course is a module. If the course lasts one month, it means that it consists of one module. If the course lasts six months, it means that it consists of six modules. Every module includes 8 meetings, 30 minutes each. Meetings are held via Microsoft Teams and are conducted F2F, student-teacher. The fee for each module of the course is 499 PLN.
Regulations & Rules:
1. Each module consists of 8 classes, 30 minutes each. The most optimal solution is to schedule 2 classes per week with at least a two-day interval in between (e.g. Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday…). It is mandatory to sign up for all classes within the module before it begins. The time to complete the entire module is 1 month, with the possibility of extending it to a maximum of 2 months.
2. Classes are held online, one-on-one with a teacher, twice a week for 30 minutes. Classes are scheduled individually (with the option of choosing a free slot from Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and the dates set are fixed for the entire duration of the module. For example, you can arrange the first class on Monday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM and the second – on Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
3. Classes are held through the Microsoft Teams program. The student will receive in advance invitations to classes on selected dates, along with a link to the meetings on Teams. The student can install the free version of Microsoft Teams (recommended) or connect through the web version.
4. Before the course begins, we conduct a Run Test: we connect via Teams and check the quality of the connection.
5. In case of any technical problems during the classes, a break in the network connectivity or other disruptions, the lesson will be rescheduled to another date, mutually agreed upon with the teacher.
6. It is possible to postpone individual classes only within the time frame of the maximum duration of the module (2 months) and according to free slots in the teacher’s Teams calendar.
7. Classes not cancelled will be forfeited and not rescheduled, nor refunded.
8. After completing each module (8 classes), the student writes a test that checks their knowledge of the material covered and receives from the teacher a written evaluation of their language level along with a description of the test results and comments on their progress during the course.
9. Achieving a given language level may take up to several months and require the completion of one or more courses (while a course may last more than one month). A student can start a course lasting several months, discontinue it after a month and return to it, for example, after a two-week vacation. The student will always return to the actual moment of the course after the interruption. A one-month course lasts one month. A five-month course lasts five months.
10. The fee for one module of the course is 499 PLN. This fee is fixed for each module (8 classes) within a given course. The orders can be placed via the store website 24/7. The payments for the course can be made by traditional bank transfer, online transfer, payment card and BLIK. After placing an order, the Customer will receive a confirmation of the purchase to the provided e-mail address. The fee should be paid before the start of the first lesson with the teacher.
11. It is possible to purchase a gift voucher for one module of the selected course. The voucher remains valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. It is subject to the same rules as all modules (point 1). It differs only in its start date, which is extended to 6 months (e.g., if a student receives a voucher for a module with a purchase date of 01/02/2025, they will be able to start it on 01/08/2025 at the latest).
12. Payment for the module/voucher means that the student has read and accepts the School Policy.
